FAIRFAX, Va. — May 2, 2016 — Logos Technologies and MAG Aerospace announced today that they have teamed up to provide wide-area motion imagery (WAMI) as an on-demand airborne sensor service for border security personnel, emergency first responders and other customers.

The turnkey solution marries Redkite, an ultra-lightweight WAMI airborne sensor developed by Logos Technologies, with manned aircraft employed by MAG Aerospace for aerial sensing missions on behalf of international, U.S. government and commercial customers.

Weighing 30 pounds, Redkite employs a 50-plus megapixel camera that can track in near-real time hundreds of movers at once over a city-sized area. Redkite also records, stores, and processes all activity within its coverage area for forensic analysis.
