FAIRFAX, Va., December 2, 2013 – Logos Technologies has appointed Dr. John Marion as president of the company. In this role, Dr. Marion will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the business, including overseeing existing programs and new business initiatives. Dr. Marion was previously the company’s executive vice president.

Dr. Marion brings more than 30 years of industry experience to his position. Most recently, he led Logos Technologies’ Persistent Surveillance division, where he oversaw the development and deployment of the Kestrel and Constant Hawk Intelligent Persistent Surveillance systems. Prior to this role, he was a program leader at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL) for the Sonoma Persistent Surveillance program, and associate director of the National Science Foundation/University of California Davis/LLNL Center for Biophotonics.
