Logos Technologies successfully demonstrated its airborne wide-area persistent surveillance sensor technology for an audience of military officials from Australia and New Zealand in March. The flights, which took place in Queensland, Australia saw the RedKite-I system collect, process, and transmit wide-area area motion imagery (WAMI) in real time, while flying aboard an Insitu Inc. Integrator tactical unmanned aircraft system (UAS). All of the officials were able to see directly how a UAS equipped with the RedKite WAMI sensor proves to be highly advantageous in support of multiple and diverse defense-related scenarios.
