John Abernethy serves as the Chief Operating Officer for Logos Technologies, LLC, bringing to the position decades of managerial, organizational development, financial, and investment experience.
Before joining Logos, Mr. Abernethy was a managing director of Dunrath Capital, a private equity and strategic advisory firm he co-founded in 2002, which managed a $60 million venture fund focused on investments in defense, safety, and security companies. He led firm operations, portfolio company operational improvement efforts, and several of the fund’s principal investments.
Prior to Dunrath Capital, Mr. Abernethy held executive leadership positions at both public and private equity-backed companies, including the Revere Group Limited, a business and information technology advisory firm; APAC Customer Services, Inc., a provider of customer care outsourcing solutions; and Wolters Kluwer (CCH), a leader in tax, accounting and audit information, software and services.
He is a CPA with a BS in Accounting from Northern Illinois University.
